Tenā kotou, Ko Ellie Barleyman tōku ingoa. I am a motivated teacher that has a passion for creating innovative learning experiences. I have been a teacher at Forrest Hill for five years and have taught years 3 and 2. My philosophy is based on creating a safe, positive classroom culture. I believe this can be achieved through fostering diversity and developing personal relationships with the learners. I have a passion for teaching maths using visuals and manipulatives to allow kids to explore and discover numerical patterns. I am currently the maths curriculum coordinator.
