Amanda Old

Kia ora, ko Amanda Old tōku ingoa (my name is Amanda). I am lucky enough to be a part of the Forrest Hill whānau, working as a teacher in Year 5. I have experience in science and psychology, and a passion for Māori tikanga and Te Reo. Mental health education is a subject that I hold to high esteem. I believe that by understanding ourselves and our emotions, we can be more resilient and more equipped to help others. I have two rawe (amazing) daughters that light up my life. When not working, my time is spent adventuring with them.
